Tool 11 reflection

Reflections: The video loading was my most interesting tool along with the ability to load face page from a site. I wish I could explain how I have transformed my thinking about the learning that will take place in my classroom, but I need to bring this into my classroom first and then reflect on this and I have not done so. The whole thing was long, ill explained and difficult to follow. I did my best and I feel once I have the opportunity to put the program into practice and share it with my children, I'll have a better understanding of it. I did all of the posts, but did not arrange them properly and I had to copy-paste in order for them to be visible in my blog.

Tool 11

Children need to learn to be safe on the internet and one of the things they need to learn is not to provide personal data on line. The tools will help communicate more effectively with them and give them an opportunity to share data in a meaningful way. The video loading was my most interesting tool along with the ability to load face page from a site. I tried to do the assessment, but could not log-on and when I tried to register, I was not allowed.

Tool 10

The i phone, i-pad, and other devices are a great way to communicate and I'm for them. Still, I have my reservations of becoming so technology inclined, that I may start to ignore social structures and books for information. Still, I am for technology that keeps us better informed. I don't own an i-pad or i-phone, but I own a cell phone that I use for communication.

Tool 9

We have many children who travel back to their countries while on vacations. Skype is a good-cheap way to keep in contact with them. Many a time I wish I could just use that picture on my scree, but didn't know how, now I have a tool, jing, that will allow me to do just that.

Tool 8

This tool is very helpful by providing a visual connection, thus making the lesson not only interesting, but more informative. I chose Blinx since it does not require me to register. I'm kind of getting tired of so many registrations. The program is easy and only requires me to aim, click, and save.

Tool 7

This was the most fun tool of all I've worked on. I know I will use this tool once I have practiced with it long enough. I think kids will get a kick out of this tool.

Tool 6

This program needs to create to delete, weird action. Why not just delete. I like this wiki stuff. It lets me create a link where I can share my lessons with the children and keep them informed. The edit and save option is great for we can enbark on a subject and add to it while sharing ideas.
